Calculus is a branch of mathematics focused on limits, functions, derivatives, integrals, and infinite series. Calculus is the study of change. It has two major branches, differential calculus and integral calculus. One is the measure the rate of change at any given point on a curve and is called the derivative. The other part of calculus is used to measure the exact area under a curve and is called the integral.
